About Us
Timber Ridge Fruit Farm sits on just over 1,000 acres in Gore, VA, where it began in 1948. Owned by Cordell and Kim Watt, it is a 3rd generation family farm focused on growing quality apples, peaches and cherries.
Cordell was named US Apple Grower of the Year in 2013; his extensive knowledge of the fruit industry is evident in the orchards. Adding acreage and new varieties, along with an efficient production line, has been key to the farms success.
Growing, packing and shipping are all done right here at Timber Ridge Fruit Farm. Cherries are picked in June, and on average, the peach and apple harvest runs from July through the end of October. With over 30 varieties of apples, some that can be picked early on in the season, and 5 peach varieties, we are able to meet the needs of customers throughout the United States, local customers and those abroad.
Food Safety is a huge concern for the facility; employees undergo regular training throughout the year to keep apprised of the regulatory requirements. High standards are a must for Timber Ridge Fruit Farm.
