Sankofa Community Development Corporation

Sankofa Community Development Corporation serves as a catalyst to revitalize New Orleans’ Lower and Upper Ninth Ward communities. The 501c3 non-profit organization was established to facilitate advances in urban revitalization, healthy living, education and economic development. Currently, the Sankofa Community Development Corporation oversees the Sankofa Farmers Market, the Sankofa HEAL Project, the Frederick Douglass Garden and the Sankofa Blueberry Mini-Farm
