Mid-Atlantic Growers and Consumers Cooperative

The activities of the Mid-Atlantic Growers and Consumers Cooperative are governed by its core values of social justice, environmental stewardship and economic sustainability for small farmers and urban consumers. The essential business of the cooperative is to provide a marketplace where family farmers and consumers who are willing sellers and buyers can meet for business and discuss sustainable methods to improve local food systems. The Mid-Atlantic Growers and Consumers Cooperative serves as the agent of the buyers and sellers and at no time does the cooperative have title to the products, and products at all times are owned by either the buyer or the seller. This cooperative is operated on a cooperative basis for the mutual benefit of its members as patrons and owners of the cooperative.
